World Sleep Society is a nonprofit, professional membership organization dedicated to advancing sleep health worldwide. 

To accomplish this mission, World Sleep Society manages a variety of programs that engage the global community of sleep physicians, researchers, and professionals as well the public.

The goal and purpose of World Sleep Society is to advance knowledge about sleep, circadian rhythms, sleep health, and sleep disorders worldwide, especially in those parts of the world where this knowledge has not advanced sufficiently. This endeavor will promote clinical and scientific information for scientists, health care personnel, and the general public. 

World Sleep Society will foster international exchanges among scientists, physicians, psychologists, nurses, physician assistants, technologists, and other medical and research personnel interested in the sleep field. In this manner it is expected that sleep science and medicine can advance for all populations to improve the quality of life of individuals throughout the world.

The APSC is an organization whose mission is to promote the highest standard of practice for the professional sleep consulting industry throughout the world to ensure that families needs are met with professionalism, excellence, and ethical care.

As a member of the APSC Leadership Team for Latin America, IPSI certified professionals have the opportunity to exchange ideas, resources, experiences and best practices with other members across the globe. 

The APSC’s goal is for the practice of professional sleep consulting to be recognized and respected throughout the world.  This credibility is earned through collaboration, education, advocacy,  outreach, media and informational activities, both within the organization and throughout the global community.
